Unimaginable

When I was in my teens listening to Made In Japan back in the 70s, I didn't imagine seeing Deep Purple playing the the Southend Cliffs Pavilion in 2002 and me, balding aged 40 watching them.

I have seen Purple playing many times over the years, but last nights gig was probably the best. The band really seemed to be enjoying it, the venue is just the right size, and everyone was lapping up the opportunity to just enjoy over two hours of great music.

The classic stuff and the new stuff. This may be the last time, or close to it, but thanks for the memories, Deep Purple!
