Ireland & UK 2002 reviews

The only thing that matters: I was there!

I just want to say that as a follower of the band in the early 70s (and on.and off ever since), I regretted never getting to see them live. This has now. been put right and I'm still reliving the experience days later. Couldn't. keep the grin off my face the whole show!

Deep Purple were always great at improvisation and clearly still are - I was. especially impressed with Steve Morse and the interplay with Jon Lord which was fantastic. Even though Ian Gillan clearly wasn't on best form with a sore throat, I didn't. care - I was there and that's what counted. I want to see them again...

Thanks to the band for a tremendous show and good to see them enjoying it. all so much!
