To all amdp-ers,

From the bottom of the pit of the lowest level of the furthest down, and below that, point of my heart I thank you all for your interest and support. (sorry, a bit overboard there). It's your interest that's gives me the chance to say and be heard, well read anyway, that Deep Purple has had a wonderful time this year and it's due to people like you. Well, not you exactly, just people like you :-) I am not infrequently occasionally unable to get on line (?), sometimes out of choice, but every time I come back to it I'm amazed at the vital atmosphere I sense on this news group. And the smell. I've checked out a few other newsgroups (don't ask who!) and you (we) are very fine. You know how you are. It was a real pleasure to have met so many of you in person. All over the world. Or some of it anyway. Parts of it. Certain parts.

1996 has been, as far as I'm concerned, and I believe I speak for the rest of the band, probably the most enjoyable year of touring since transisters were hip. We had a blast.

I THAAAAAAANK YEOW!! (- my mate Ian Gillan)

I wish you all the best that the season has to offer.

Good luck with the peace thing.

RG (lucky to be working with THE best road crew)
