London - Royal Albert Hall

As usual, we (I and my friend Carlo Alberto) must go to London. Milano - London for two concerts of the miths of my life!!! Also for convention of DPAS.

25 september:
at 6.45 PM: RAH: I was very excited. RAH is splendid, we was in a very good position to see and hear the concerto.
The beginning with the London Symphony Orchestra was also nice, but when Paul Mann say: "One of the greatest man that I know: Jon Lord", all Purple people began to be very happy. Two songs from "Pitcures Within"... Great our LORD!!

And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, "The SuperStar" Ian Gillan.
I must say in Italian: Fantastico, Grande, Meraviglioso, Magico:
Via Miami with the girls of chorus and Orchestra!!! Great!
That's why God is singing the Blues: Superb Ian!!!
I am very happy also for his guitarist Steve Morris: very nice.
Steve Morse Band: two songs of classic Steve Morse Band music.
Paicey: Wring that neck: without Ritchie on the guitar!!! Aaaaahhh!
After interval (I met, near the bar, George Harrison - I ask him a autograph - he said with scorn: "not tonight"and went away quickly - in Italian I can say: buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!), begin the Concerto.
An hour of great classic music with Jon splendid, as usual. Jon, a very man, a great Lord. The London Simphony Orchestra was also very great.
All DP were concentrated. I was very happy to be there.
After the Concerto, for all DP fans: Ted (new classic Purple music) - Watching the sky - Sometimes - Pitctures of Home (the best!!!) - Smoke. After: about 10-15 minutes with all people "deeppurple deeppurple..."
Ian Gillan came out and said "Jon is gone to toilet, we have finished".
Very nice, Ian.
Thanks to God that we decided to go to London from Italy.

26 september
At 12.00: 2.nd DPAS Convention. I found many CD and Various very interesting for my old collection of DP (I began from 1970 to make collection of all purple things).
At 5 pm Ian Gillan arrived. He spoke with all purple people just like one of us. Superb. Photo with Him, Video with Him, Autograth, etc.
I gave him a photo of him and me in Italy and he said only "Thanks, Boy" (I am 47 years old!!!!).
I made a photo also with his wife and daughter.

At the night: the second Concert! The same great emotion.
The same great musicians!

Carlo Alberto and I were very happy for this wonderful Purple week end. I love you, my dear DP. Thanks to Ian - Jon - Roger - Ian - Steve. I hope to see you soon. Your music is immortal.
