Soundtrack spotting

A couple of Purple tunes could be heard in the movie theatres recently.

Mistreated was featured in an animated fantasy musical by LucasFilm called Strange Magic, sung by Alan Cumming:

A cover of Hush (or is that a cover of a cover?) has been spotted in a British action comedy flick Kingsman: The Secret Service. It’s not credited on the soundtrack, so we have no idea who’s performing. The song can be heard on the trailer (starts at 1:42):

Thanks to Andrey Gusenkov and Tracy Heyder for the info.

There is a fine, but rather disturbing, film from Germany titled ‘Requiem’, made in 2006 that features Deep Purple’s “Anthem” in its’ entirety.
The scene where the main character is dancing to the song is excellent, and then later, the viewer (and listener) gets to hear it again during the closing credits.
This is not a cover version, it’s the real thing!
    Look for it.

@9 thanks for the Trouble clip. As for Mistreated, this is what happens when opposites collide without complete disaster anyway. It still draws some wonder as to where the music world is headed. I mean he is the last person I thought would sing some Purple. 😀
