Italian tribute band Forever Deep has put out an album of original material with Ian Paice and Don Airey guesting on several tracks:

    And Paicey is better audible than on Now What.

    The vocals reminded me more of AOR/Uriah Heepish vocals.

    Maybe Deep Heep would have been a better name?

    it’s easy to have a better sounding kit from Paice as shown here (or here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXjIvhsjDvs) …I can’t understand why worldwide famous producers are not able…

    anyway this album is good but too derivated and I don’t really like the vocals…
