It's amazing to think that Some Stupid with a Flare Gun is most likely still running around out there. He must know that he was responsible for the greatest rock classic ever...and that he was there to witness the main event!

Surely, the statute of limitations has run out by now... We need to hear the story from the point of view at which it happened.

Someone HAS to know...

...emptiness, eagles and snow...

Lost sight of what seasons The Festival has taken place over all of these years. Perhaps a model of the old casino could be built to burn with the appropriate retardents in place to protect what is standing around the grounds? It's not about burning a memory, just paying tribute to an event that could have been tragic, but just afforded an album wrapper/filler with a simple yet brilliant riff in the annals of R&R history.

Long live R&R...!

Peace,

I took the trip in summer and that not really gave me the feeling of " empty , bare and cold".

Maybe its an idea to organise a sighttrip in winter to grasp a bit of feeling of way back?
To enhance the moods we could think about setting something on fire.....

Does anyone know whether or not The Purpetrators will be gracing the Festival stage this year? Surprised that there are no dates given at this moment in time. Brother took a job in Basel this year giving me every reason to finally make it to the Lake Geneva shoreline....

Will appreciate any insight....

Peace,
