		<description>The other day, I was listening to William Russo's "Three Pieces for Blues Band and Symphony Orchestra" (Op. 50), which always reminds me of the concerto--not in sound, but in spirit.  The Russo piece came out in 1968, and I've always wondered if Lord heard it at the time.</description>
