I missed Ritchie

I was impressed with the Deep Purple set. Seeing them live in the 70s, I felt this would be a last ditch effort to bring new fans around to their old music. I must say except for the 'mature' appearances (with the exception of Steve), the boys rocked as well as ever! Maybe Ian wasn't able to hit the high notes as well, but who could after 30 plus years? I missed Ritchie. I will always say that. But Steve did a fantastic job, didn't showboat, and fit the band like a leather glove. I wasn't too pleased with the music list, wanting a few of my favorites in the place of some of the slower choices (like "Child In Time" or "Space Truckin'"), but that's why I'm a fan and not on the stage...
