A night I'll never forget

Deep Purple rocked The PNC Bank Arts Center to the ground on June 15. I was overtaken with joy when they took the stage because I was finally going to see the best rock band of all time - Deep Purple. They played all of my favourite songs and the whole crowd joined in to sing "Smoke On The Water".

The only song I wish they played that they didn't was "Anyone's Daughter" but it didn't matter because they were awesome. Ian Gillan's voice sounded great and he was really funny when he introduced the songs, he was full of energy. Roger and Steve were spectacular as were Jon and Ian as they played for about an hour and 30 mins. I have seen a lot of bands live and Deep Purple topped them all on June 15 The purple lights were awesome and so was the crowd. It was a night I will never forget and I can't wait for the next album and tour so I can see them again.
