What a band!!!!!

Hello, it is the morning after the show, and it was the typical Deep Purple show, Fantastic!!

The setlist was as follows:
"Woman From Tokyo"
"Ted The Mechanic"
"Lazy"
"No One Came"
"Fools"
"Pictures Of Home"
"Perfect Strangers"
"When A Blind Man Cries"
Steve's riffs including
"Sweet Home Alabama"
"Back In Black"
"Been A Long Time"
"Sunshine Of Your Love"
"Fire"
"Smoke On The Water"

Encores:
"Hush"
"Highway Star"

It is always a highlight to see the band perform, and they sounded great. They were as tight as I have heard.

The real highlight happened during Ted Nugent. My friend Tim and I saw Steve come out to watch Ted's performance, and we ran over to him and talked with him. He is a great guy!! He said that Ian's voice is bothering him, and they would be doing "No One Came" in place of "Knocking". We requested that the band do more songs from "Purpendicular", or something from "Abandon", and he said he doesn't have much say in the setlist. We got him to autograph our tickets, this alone made our night.

My first Deep Purple show was in 1973, and they sound just as great now!!
What a band!!!!!
