Louder Than Ever

I could launch into all sorts of superlatives to describe how great the concert was on Monday night. Suffice to say that they were absolutely brilliant!

The Entertainment centre rocked. Apart from the great sounds of guitar, keyboard and vocals, you were constantly bombarded with the pulse of drums and bass. You didn't just hear it, you felt it!

Ritchie Blackmore wasn't there, but Steve Morse was and he added his style to the Purple. He fits in well and the whole band seemed to blend well and really enjoyed themselves.

I remember listening to a tape of "Machine Head" in 1974 at the SMQ in Port Hedland with some workmates and a lot of beer. They were great then and they're better than ever now.

Louder Than Ever; yeah and I loved it.
