RAHSun. Text 1stMovement.jpg - A shot of Deep Purple's rock solid bottom end. The percussionists in the background seem to have more than just a passing interest in Ian! ;-) 2nd Movement.jpg - Ian Gillan rises from his shared seat with Steve to deliver wonderful vocals, appreciatively elongated for these performances. "Angelic" was one comment! 2ndMovement2.jpg - All five members of Deep Purple shown playing like only they can. This Movement a perfect showcase for Gillan's voice and Steve's haunting guitar. apresshow.jpg - It was hard to believe, but after months of anticipation, arrangements and literally encyclopedias of e-mails, it was over... 2 Fantastic shows! A last "Gathering of the Fans" for the obligatory photo op... L to R - Ketil Mikkelsen (Norway), ?, Angie Zinn, Mikael Wiklund (Sweden), Rasmus Heide (Aarhus, Denmark), ?, Olle Nystrom (Stockholm, Sweden) Svante Petterssen (Malmo, Sweden), Nick Soveiko (Ottawa, Canada), Benny Holmstrom (Eskilstuna, Sweden), Line Corrigan (Ottawa, Canada), Karin Wieslander (Solna, Sweden),Christor's friend - Dennis Karlsson (Orebro,Sweden), Christer Lorichs (Linkoping, Sweden), "the Unknown Swede" & Anders Ahlback (Boras, Sweden). paicey.jpg - This is the man I usually go to see. It was nice to be able to see him unobstructed this night; see and hear all the different styles, and of course, his superb drumming. This was taken during the Drum Cadenza of the 3rd Movement of the Concerto. wtn1.jpg - "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!" Paicey and the boys give "Wring That Neck" the Glenn Miller/Buddy Rich treatment. Great stuff! :-) wtn2.jpg - Another shot of "Ian Paice's Impromptu Jazz Band." Roger, Jon Graham Preskett and The Kick Horns; and of course THE man!
