Jon Lord “Gemini Suite” to be re-released on November 25, 2016
earMusic/Edel will start a series of Jon Lord reissues with the release of “Gemini Suite” on November 25, 2016.
The album, recorded at Abbey Road und De Lane Leo Studios with the London Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Malcolm Arnold features performaces by Albert Lee, Yvonne Elliman, Tony Ashton and Jon Lords Deep Purple bandmates Roger Glover and Ian Paice.

Great artwork on the cover of this new one, it’s different from my scratchy old vinyl version from around 40 years ago.

A bit unfair, isn’t it? I know these releases are set to reach new audience but what about people who already own the 2009 reissues? Wouldn’t it be more fair if this new edition was only a re-release of a previous one? Or maybe maybe someone wants to cash in on collectors?
