Very true. My folks were sure that I would "grow out of liking" this type of music. They thought it had something to do with age and maturity. Well here I am at 47 and I guess I still have to "grow up".

Also, isn´t "Glorious Racket" a fantastic title for the next album? Or for a song at least? No?

With all respect to everyone here, sometimes or frequently we judged Deep Purple (Mk8, Morse and Ritchie's influence, Ritchie and Lord's departure, DP album, SET LIST,etc) with premature parameters just like Gillan said above. People who just read the set list that seemed similar from time to time judged that DP become boring and static (included my self, had repeat it in this forum) seemed very subjective compare to people who attend their show and did headbanging, singalong, and screaming there without ever read THS.com and DP.net. And also with 'Morse vs Blackmore' virtual war, I almost can' stand why people always dig this case too deep when you might know that neither Blackmore nor Morse ever pissed or made bad point one to another. They respected each other, and the most important thing is both of them keep he legacy of Deep Purple's music.

But they were the opinions that made a forum like this become fun, so the runs of debate and comments are another things stand beside the music and concerts themselves.

I am one of those who never believe 100% of the reviews (albums, concerts, singles,) that made in the music magazines, TV shows, or websites especially when it made by professional reporters and music critiques. If I have to compare, Like Gillan said above, I'm more into the reviews from the real fan of a musician(album, singles) and from the audience who attend a show even if it was the first concert he/she attend in life. Because they are PURE AND HONEST.

Please comment..
Cheers
