I share your feelings about spending money though, makes sense enough, thats why Blackmore stopped getting mine.

I wanted to leave a comment on Sunday, but I didn’t manage until now. I wanted to say that a thread probably will be closed for one of the following reasons :

a. all interesting stuff concerning the thread has been said and there will probably be no more interesting stuff that will fly over.

b. as the ths is a website edited by volunteers, the editors can come to a point a thread has grown out of it’s jacket and the work involved to read and treat a thread becomes overwhelming.

c. but the most predictable reason is probably indeed (what I had in mind Sunday) that a thread has grown out of it’s purpose (”for DP info, fun, discussing, enjoying , sharing…MUSIC !!!”) and that “threads are closed because they have deteriorated into nothing else but petty bickering and personal attacks”.

So, I stand fully behind the decisions of the editors to close a thread whenever they want !!!!

I think that Mr. Nsoveiko probably ended some threads because he is concerned about ALL fans, and that he has therefor not a VIP treatment of you in the mind…
The THS is for DP info, fun, discussing, enjoying , sharing…MUSIC !!!

And if you need so badly to end every thread, you could end your holy but immaginary omnipotence above all others at this one.

This afternoon I read another interview with Mister Gillan in a shop while doing my round of the city her in Rotterdam.

It has often been said he does negative statements about Ritchie because hes being provoked by the interviewer.

I think he is stronger than that.

In the interview I ve read his repeated nonsense about Ritchie AGAIN!!!!
He repeated what he said before about how terrible Deep Purple were playing in the end. That nobody played as their usual selves and that everything bettered when Ritchie left.

EVERYBODY who has seen the The Battle Rages On Tour gigs live or on You Tube knows this bullshit.

Maybe Gillan thinks people are stupid, maybe he has a point there, or that he can make something right just by repeating it.
I dont know….

I know that RB made negative statements about Ian as well.

I m not very happy, I am a fan of both Gillan and Blackmore, with both their outing in this field but……

But didnt Ritchie have a POINT that Ian was not always singing very well?

I do not know if it was because of the booze and smoking or a bad attitude or both….
But I think it has been very evident that even after RB s departure Ian was and IS NOT always singing very well
And that happened in abscence of the so called malicious Mister Blackmore….

Sad to say all this but it is like it.

And why are certain threads closed all of a sudden?

Ultimate-guitar.com just released an interview with Ian today. It mostly deals with his new solo album. Towards the end, he says there are no plans for a new DP album. Bummer…..

I agree with the guys mention to Ian about “Deal With It” and “Ball Of Confusion” it’s actually damn near the same exact bassline throughout.
(I couldn’t place it at first but knew it sounded very familiar)

That was the first thing running through my mind and why I didn’t try to pull off some kind of epic piece. It’s just an album promotion at the risk of repeating similarities, not a history probe. Thats not not my angle anyway, to bring attention and awareness is really the main idea.

After the 06 repeat started I was off… a lot of the interviews seem to be surfacing from the various sources he has already done them with, from Italy to Poland and now London.

Expect more, many more.(distinct them by the few words of difference in his answers to basically the same questions every source seems to be asking)lol!
