Summer tour of Europe confirmed!

View of downtown Montreux

All European tourdates that we had posted for the summer are now officially confirmed. In addition to that, Montreux is confirmed for the closing day of the festival — July 19, plus a couple of French festivals and one in Belgium.

See them all in your tour dates list (and to all of you who got in touch asking for the return of separate listings for each band, it’s on our to-do list, please be patient). Please email us with any local updates, missing or incorrect info, etc.

Thanks to Tatti Oscarsson for the info.

Anything lined up for UK/Ireland? People say MOR 2006 was a bit of a let down, personally I thought it was one of the strongest line ups ever (but Purple were far better on their 2007 tour), bit disappointed about the attendance at MK though.

ohhh, come on purplepriest1965, I’m tired of reading your comments…

You may think that RB is better Than Steve, but d’you really think that Glenn Hughes has better guitarist than Deep Purple has? such a stupid…

D’you really think that GH live is better than DP live?

say that you are a stupid MKIII fan and you’re angry that current DP are on their top (after MKII).
MKIII will never be such great as Current DP, this is why you are angry. Come Taste the Band sold 20 000 in the UK, and Rapture sold 1 500 000 (more than Perfect Strangers), this is why you hate current line up. because current Deep Purple are on their TOP, they’re full of fire and energy.
    So, go to GH’s lives.
If you din’t go to DP live that means that another DP fan will have a chance to buy DP tickets… as the band’s every gigs are sold out!

I must say Glenn Hughes ROCKS, some of his stuff sounds better than the recent songs. I believe he plays better bass than Roger too, check out Tony Iommoi’s Fused album , that rocks hard. Soul mover is also good, i’ve also lost interest in the current DP line up , am more intereseted in Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath with Dio)there concert was so heavy & loud last year , more than the Purple concerts i’ve seen . Their new album will rock hard , Tony still loves to play heavy guitar his the hard rock riff master!
