    Ballydowse says:

According to the Greek Theatre official web page calendar, Deep Purple plays there Friday, June 24, not the 23rd. Confirms they are playing with an orchestra and Ernie and the Automatics. Haven’t seen Purple in several years, definitely looking to going…

    Jazk says:

Why Roger Glover wasn’t playing in the show in Greece ? is he ill or depressed or make a decision to meet someone …or he is busy with his solo album or mixing Deep Purple album ? I don’t remember any show with Deep Purple after 1984 without Roger Glover on bass , especially if he is still a friend of Gillan … – so -what happened ?

Or maybe the money or distant place is the answer ? Will he be able to do a tournee with a Band in juni in USA?

I can’ t see Roger leaving Purple while Ian is still there. In fact I can’t see either of them leaving Purple – Please!
