Unauthorized copying, while sometimes necessary, is never as good as the real thing
saw Whitesnake in glasgow last night…. seen better. Lots of new numbers in the set - but that’s what David has always done when a new album comes out - since right from the early days in the early 80’s. few oldie but goodies but nothing really purple in there that i can rememeber. Missed my fav ‘crying in the rain’ but ha ho cant have everything. Good to see the 02 was a sauna again… VERY VERY hot in there. Don’t ask about the guitar solo’s… lets just say … went on a bit in my opinion ..with no real substance to them, just a buggering about to fill in time it seemed - maybe David had voice probs again ..i don’t know. This all ended up in the sound going from some of the stacks for some reason. The solo’s seemed to break the set in two and David had to work to bring the crowd back in after a good enthusiastic start. Liked the accoustic piece’s and these went down well. New band members put down a lot, especially the bassist giving it some. Light show good. Support band put a lot down too. To sum up - good performance but maybe just a few TOO many changes from the norm for me personally.
