BRAVO MAESTROS!
The Band was outstanding!! Thank you for playing a little of the peruvian song El Condor Pasa!!!
Set List:
Pictures of home / Things I never said / Into the fire / Strange kind of woman / Rapture of the deep /
Mary Long / Kiss tomorrow goodbye / Steve Morse solo including: You really got me / Sweet child of mine / Bark at the moon… and The Well-dressed guitar…
The Battle rages on / Lazy / Don Airey solo including El Condor Pasa and Star Wars…
Perfect Strangers / Space trucking / Highway Star / Steve Morse:You got to hide your love away-intro before Smoke on the water…ending with Hush(with bass and drums solo) and Black night..
A real black night with a lunar eclipse to remember! Thank you again…
Thank you Deep Purple for a powerful and unforgettable night!. All was brilliant. I was there when you arrived at Lima’s airport. Ian Gillan first, and then Roger Glover answered me a very kindly “Thank You” when I said them “Welcome To Peru”. I touched Gillan’s arm and shaked the hand with Steve Morse.
I’ll keep on my mind forever the image of the band rockin’ with spirit and Ian dancing without shoes. THANK YOU DEEP PURPLE. Peru loves you! Please come back soon!!!
